Why Join TCS

Our U.S. clients include one-third of the Fortune 500 across all major industries. Employer of Choice Operating in the U.S. for more than 45 years, we are committed to sourcing the best and brightest people locally. We have hired 20,000 in the past five years alone, making us the second largest recruiter of IT services talent in the country. Exceptional workplace practices have earned us multiple awards, including the Top Employer title from the Top Employers Institute for the fifth straight year. DiversityInc. named TCS in it’s Top 50 for diversity and inclusion management, leadership accountability and talent development. Our employees proudly represent 147 nationalities, and women make up 36% of the workforce, a leading figure in the industry. Learning and Development As a new hire, learning and development begins on day one. College hires enter through our Initial Learning Program (ILP), which includes training on the latest technology stacks, soft skills and an introduction to TCS culture. ILPers leave the program empowered to immediately contribute to projects. Continuous learning is offered through our anytime, anywhere digital platforms, hackathons, bootcamps, and more. In the Community While TCS is a global company, we think locally. Giving back to the communities where we live and work is built into our DNA; focusing on the areas of education, health and environment. Partnerships with Million Women Mentors encourage women and girls to enter STEM fields. Our flagship goIT program encourages interest in computer science through design thinking, agile prototyping workshops and mentorships. Furthermore, we’re changing the educational landscape, providing computational thinking curriculum for teachers with our Ignite My Future in School program. In the area of health, we’re the year around sponsor of New York Road Runners’ youth programs and the premiere sponsor of The TCS New York City Marathon, plus the technology sponsor of the Chicago and Boston Marathons. As for the environment, as a national partner of the American Red Cross, TCS employees help to respond to disasters, aid families during their recovery process and prepare communities for emergency response.
