TCS Talent Development (TD) won the prestigious Innovation in Talent Development Award and Excellence in Practice Recognitions at the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Conference in Atlanta on May 22, 2017. The awards were received by Damodar Padhi, VP and Global Head – Talent Development, TCS, Novonil Bhattacharya, LATAM HR Head, TCS and Minette Mathew, LATAM Talent Development Head, TCS.

The Innovation in Talent Development award is given in recognition of an innovation that has a measurable impact on an organisation or audience, is moving the talent development industry forward, is sustainable, and is replicable within or outside the talent development field.
ATD also honored TCS TD with two Excellence in Practice Honorable Mention Citations. Enterprise Talent Development won ATD EIP Honorable Mention Citation in the Learning Technologies category. This category honors practices that use technology and learning to develop, connect, and engage the workforce.
TCS LATAM received the first ever Excellence in Practice Honorable Mention Citation for its practice Continuous Learning Program in the Organisational Learning and Development Category for a practice that focuses on learning and development in the organisation; the design and delivery of training.
ATD’s Excellence in Practice program recognizes organisations for results achieved using practices and solutions from the entire scope of talent development. Honorable Mention Citations are presented to organisations with promising practices that have shown they will demonstrate sustained and measurable results.
ATD received 227 submissions from organisations around the world. Twenty-five organisations received awards and 37 were recognised with citations.
The award winners were honored at the awards ceremony during the ATD International Conference & Exposition in May 2017, in Atlanta, GA.
